| If you're a CPA, you may already be aware
that CPE requirements have changed. Be sure to consult the website for
your State Board of Public
Accountancy to make sure you comply with the new requirements.
As of January 1, 2005, CPAs must complete a minimum of 20 CPE hours
in any one year of the three-year reporting period, and a minimum of 120
CPE hours for the entire three-year reporting period. A four-hour
Board-approved ethics course is required every two years, with a
transitioning from a three-year to a two-year reporting cycle for ethics
CPE.
