    Browser Problems

This website is best viewed using Internet Explorer 7 or above (or compatible browsers); earlier versions of IE may display incorrectly. If that occurs, please visit your browser maker's website and upgrade your browser. There may be some exceptions, but it is likely the update is available at no cost to you.

Viewing problems may relate to IE 6 and earlier browsers (and their competitive counterparts). Information concerning your browser's version number should be available somewhere on your browser's menu. For Internet Explorer, access the "Help" menu (possibly represented by a question mark in the upper right corner of the browser window) and click on the menu choice that begins "About."

I do not recommend upgrading to IE 7. First, it is not the newest version. Second, I found IE 7 to be unstable; it would frequently freeze. my experience with IE 8 has been much better.

Here's another reason to upgrade to the most current browser version available and keep it updated, regardless of which browser you use. Microsoft issued an out-of-cycle patch Wednesday, 2010.0331, for IE 8 to overcome a flaw that could allow remote execution. The "out-of-cycle" nature of the patch indicates that this was important.
