QuickBooks & Windows Vista

!

May 08, 2008

I recently reported a problem to Intuit. Certain Payroll Setup screens were displaying incorrectly.  In many cases, text was truncated.

QuickBooks responded a few days later. The problem I discovered affects QuickBooks 2008 running on the Windows Vista operating system. They told me they would work to address the problem. Meanwhile, they told me to adjust the DPI settings for text on my computer display.

If you have this problem and want to adjust the DPI settings for text, be sure to set the DPI to 96 (normal).  If you don't know how to do this, go to your Windows Desktop and press F1 to access Windows Help. In the Search box, type "Make the text on your screen larger or smaller," then follow the directions.

Hopefully, Intuit will fix this problem soon.
