L. Keith Jordan is a Certified Public Accountant. Based in Texas, he has almost 40 years of experience in accounting, supervision,
and management. His experience in industry includes work in many roles, among them: general accountant; cost and
budgeting accountant; accounts payable supervisor; and property accountant. His work eventually led him to
become a company controller, where he served for many years. Mr. Jordan also has experience in academic administration,
where he served as Controller/Business Manager for a higher education component campus.
In addition to his accounting duties, Mr. Jordan's responsibilities have included network administration; software
programming; and information technology development and coordination. With his emphasis on business applications
software, his ability to use or create software applications to meet accounting and business needs has often helped
him increase or extend organizational capability and effectiveness.
Mr. Jordan is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and a QuickBooks Affiliate. For several years, his sideline practice
included teaching QuickBooks as a classroom instructor and helping clients with management, accounting, and QuickBooks issues.
As part of his online presence, Mr. Jordan has been a contributing member of the now deactivated Intuit Inner Circle,
and his works have been published as exclusive content on the now deactivated Yahoo! Contributor Network. He has
also contributed to QuickBooks forums and other forums hosted by Intuit, LinkedIn, and others, and his articles can

Mr. Jordan is currently self-employed. While he continues to offer consulting services in addition to his other
activities, he is primarily engaged in technical writing and editing. Much of this work involves continuing
professional education (CPE) courses for CPAs.
Mr. Jordan is proud to have been a contributing author for Intuit's QuickBooks 2011 ProAdvisor Certification Course.
He authored the Check for Understanding Quizzes and the CPE Assessment to ensure compliance with National State
Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) criteria, both of which reportedly received accolades by students as a resounding
improvement to the testing materials.
As part of his CPE-related effort, Mr. Jordan has been steadily producing QuickBooks self-study courses since 2000.
He also creates and presents webinars for CPE credit on a wide variety of topics. His website,
